Triduum Experience, April 20-24, 2011
at St. Emma Monastery?
Every year we welcome interested single Catholic women, age 16-40, to experience
our Benedictine monastic life here at the monastery.
These days enable women to explore the possibility that Jesus Christ might be
inviting them to follow Him more closely through a monastic vocation.
Participants take part in our daily schedule of prayer the daily Eucharist and
The Liturgy of the Hours, sung 6 times daily and in our work in the
monastery, in the gift and book shop, and in caring for guests.
Recreational time together belongs also to the monastic day.
The Come and See Weekend normally begins on Friday afternoon and closes Sunday
after lunch. For those desiring a longer time, arrangements can be made.
